    Our client is a well-structured Australian business, held in high regard, with over 20 production sites located across Australia, they specialise in the production of agricultural products and currently have an exciting role to join the company as a Process Improvement and Control Engineer at one of their NSW sites.     Job Description

    The Process Improvement Engineer holds the key responsibility for optimising the production process to get the best efficiency. There will be an element of programming and modifying the plant process control systems. This role will coordinate development activities from a technical perspective, ensuring improvement projects are achieved on site.

    The key responsibilities for this role include
    • Analyse the plant production and improve the process
    • Oversee the performance of ongoing projects and coordinate against plans and budget
    • Assist the workforce to adapt to changes of procedures and systems
    • Determine possible liabilities in the production process and coordinate the application of corrective actions
    • Undertake maintenance, modification projects and programming of the plant SCADA control system

    To Be Considered For This Position, You Must Have
    • Tertiary qualification in Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
    • Ability to Implement process improvements into different manufacturing areas
    • Previous experience in PLC&SCADA programming is an advantage
    • Strong team engagement and be prepared to work with a well established, local team
    • Understanding of all business manufacturing/process activities
    • Knowledge of plant instrumentation sensors and controllers
